My Approach

  • Eclectic

    You are unique and deserve an approach that is best suited for you. An eclectic approach adapts to your unique needs drawing from different therapeutic approaches.

  • Psychoeducation

    I want you to feel empowered to address any situation that brought you into therapy. Feeling empowered starts with you having a clear understanding of your diagnosis, symptoms and treatment options. Therapy is a collaborative therapeutic relationship and the more information you have the more empowered you will feel.

  • Mindfulness-Based (MBCT)

    For depression or anxiety, I would typically work with you for 8 sessions with cognitive behavior therapy. We will also likely implement mindfulness and other relaxation techniques. You will experience gradual changes in mood and improved ability to self-manage your emotions. As you learn and practice new skills you will experience consistent improvement.

  • Strength-Based

    My hope is that you will feel hopeful about your future. Strength-based therapy focuses on identifying your strengths to help you feel empowered to overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

The therapeutic relationship is priority. Once you feel safe and comfortable then the therapeutic work can begin.

Appointments

Individualized therapy offered both virtual & in-person

Initial Psychosocial Evaluation is $175

Each 45-55 minute session is $150

Sliding scale available on an individual basis.
