My Approach
In the initial session, we will discuss what led you to seek therapy and determine the best methods to support you. Developing a plan that is unique to you will include a focus on your strengths and abilities.
Specialities
— Anxiety
Over the years, I have supported various groups of individuals facing challenges related to anxiety. Life stressors, such as adjusting to new situations, school-related anxiety, and juggling roles, can be particularly challenging.
— Depression
I have assisted individuals with depression stemming from grief and loss, diminished functioning, personal decisions, and significant life transitions.
— Grief
Grief is a universal phenomenon, occurring in diverse settings and under various circumstances. It impacts individuals who have lost their freedom, their loved ones, and those experiencing life changes that transform family dynamics, among other scenarios.
As a certified grief educator, we explore and process your emotions to gain a better understanding. Grief is a natural human response to the loss of a loved one, loss of independence, a change of role, or lifestyle. Grief can be experienced when we realize a dream or hope we have will not come to fruition. Grief is a common human experience but can be very difficult to process alone. Having someone to support you in the process is invaluable.

My hope is that you feel empowered to utilize new and positive coping skills
